Choosing an Everyday Carry (EDC) Firearm

Choosing an everyday carry firearm can seem difficult and over whelming, however, it is actually quite simple. First, you need to determine how you are going to carry the firearm. You need to decide if you are going to wear the firearm on your person or in a handbag. Next, the biggest mistake we see when choosing an EDC is the size. Most people want to choose a gun that is larger and has a higher ammo capacity. We do this naturally because the gun usually fits in our hand better, has a longer sight radius, a longer barrel for improved accuracy and above all, has a larger capacity that we feel comfortable with in the event that we need it. This is the mistake. If the gun is not comfortable to wear, you are not going to wear it. If you are not going to wear it, what’s the point on having it?

You have to remember, at the end of the day, this is the firearm that you are going to wear out to dinner, to the movies and to your everyday outings. Therefore, it needs to be comfortable when you are sitting, standing and moving about. Yes, the ammo capacity is not usually going to be up to our standards! However, there are some fantastic contenders out there such as the Sig Sauer P365 and the Glock G43X that have a capacity of ten to fifteen rounds in the magazine! Just to reiterate, if I haven’t expressed it enough, it needs to be comfortable. Please stop in to check out our huge selection of everyday carry guns. Most of our EDC firearms are available to rent. Make sure you try it out before you buy to see what is right for you!

Have fun and be safe!
