Overview
The Night Vision 101 class is a 5-hour tactical night vision course designed to teach students how to properly employ night vision devices (NVDs) for tactical marksmanship. You will be trained to effectively use head-mounted Night Vision Goggles in low or no visibility environments. Upon completion, you will possess a strong understanding of the fundamentals and techniques involved in engaging targets with Night Vision Devices.
We will have limited Night Vision Devices for rent.

- Night Vision Device
- Bump Helmet
- Infrared Laser for weapon
Required Gear:
- Semi-automatic Carbine/Rifle in 5.56/.223/308/7.62x39/300BLK
- Semi-automatic Pistol
- Night vision goggles
- Flashlight (handheld)
- Mount for night vision goggles
- Firearm-mounted infrared (IR) laser illuminator
- Must have iron sights or optic
- Sling
- Minimum of 3 rifle and 3 pistol magazines
- Magazine carrier
- Hearing and eye protection (electronic ear protection is recommended)
- Weather-appropriate attire (no sandals)
- Knee pads (optional)
- 200 rounds of rifle ammunition minimum (no armor-piercing, incendiary, or tracer ammo)
- 150 rounds of pistol ammunition minimum (no armor-piercing, incendiary, or tracer ammo)
- Batteries as needed
- Bring water and snacks as needed
