The laws pertaining to concealed carry and the use of force vary dramatically from one state to another. This class is intended to give the participant a comprehensive overview of the laws governing the state of Florida. It should be noted this is not legal advice. However, our goal is for you, the student, to leave more confident in your knowledge of the law and better able to defend yourself and your loved ones, legally and as defined by Florida law. This class is required by the state of Florida to obtain a CCW permit. We will cover the law relative to the state of Florida, as well as basic firearm safety, followed by our in-range qualification. We will also cover the application process for your permit and next steps.
PACKING LIST
- Government issued photo I.D
- Shirt that covers the collar bones to the waist
- Closed toed shoes highly recommended
- The classroom can get a little chilly, you may want to bring a sweater or jacket
